My name is Emma Brokaw and I am a Freshman at BVW. To me, photography is about capturing the beauty of the world. It's too often that people let moments pass without taking a minute to appreciate the world around them. Grabbing a camera and taking some pictures to look back on later is a wonderful way to do that. The pictures that I take are usually just things that I find interesting. I also think that it's very important to take pictures of people or things that mean something to you- that's why I have some pictures of my dog and my sister. It seems kind of cliche, but to me, art is everything. No matter how boring a place may seem, there is always something beautiful about it. That's the reason I love photography.
